Purpose Statement

CHO exists to fulfill the following goals:

1. Operating an orphanage or children’s agency for Haitian children to provide health, education, and welfare care for each child;

2. Networking with agencies to help find a parent or parents for these children;

3. Evangelizing and discipling the people of Haiti in the Christian faith;

4. Providing Christian education, training, and discipleship programs for the Haitian Christians, both leadership and laity, and to build bridges of reconciliation between Haitian and American Christians;

5.  Finding sponsors for the children.

Funds received by CHO are used to cover the maintenance and operating expenses which all these functions require. After the major earthquake struck Haiti on January 12, 2010, funds are being solicited to provide emergency aid in the near term, and help with repairing and rebuilding the facilities on our compound in the months ahead.
